Premier Travel Service 76 timetable - Summer 1972

One of the holiday services for which Premier Travel held a road service licence ran from Kidderminster to Clacton-on-Sea. Numbered service 76 it operated on Saturdays during July and August and shared a common route/timings with service 5 between Northampton and Clacton-on-Sea.

(Supposition: Since the eastbound service did not arrive in Clacton-on-Sea until 1540 and the westbound service departed Clacton-on-Sea at 1315 I suspect some interchange of passengers may have taken place between the two services on occasions. I am aware that Whittle’s Coaches, which was based at Highley near Kidderminster, hired coaches to Premier Travel and may have actually provided the vehicle for this service. If so, in order to work out and back in the same day, such a coach would perhaps have turned around prior to or at Cambridge).
