Buses in Aldershot bus station - 2 Dec 1992 (183-20A)

Wednesday 2 December 1992 – In late 1992 part of the Alder Valley business owned by Drawlane was taken over by the Stagecoach Group becoming ‘Stagecoach Hants and Surrey’.

Seen in Aldershot bus station is former Alder Valley 801 (K801 CAN), a Leyland Lynx new in August 1992, and a Stagecoach South 239 (K239 NHC), an Alexander bodied Leyland Olympian new in October 1992.

Both buses were just a few months old, the Lynx was one of the last new buses for Alder Valley before the takeover.
