Buses in Sevenoaks bus station – 14 Aug 2000 (441-25)

Monday 14 August 2000 – Sevenoaks bus station. Two Plaxton Beaver bodied Mercedes-Benz Vario mini-buses flank Arriva 5905 (G905 SKP), a Northern Counties Palatine bodied Leyland Olympian new in April 1990 to Maidstone and District. It wears the red version of the Arriva livery.

The Varios are Metrobus 951 (S951 VMY) (new October 1998) and Sevenoaks District Council V393 SVV. The latter was new September 1999. Apparently it was on lease from Dawson Rentals to operate a Park & Ride service whilst construction work closed a town centre car park and an out of town car park was being used as an alternative.
