Ambassador Travel 119 (H380 TNG) at Mildenhall – 27 Oct 1991 (155-17)

Sunday 27 October 1991 (approx. 0920) - Ambassador Travel 119 (H380 TNG), a Plaxton Paramount 3500 bodied Leyland Tiger new in January 1991, making an excursion pick-up at King Street, Mildenhall for the Motor Show in London.
This excursion was offered every day from Thursday 17 October to Sunday 27 October 1991 departing from Great Yarmouth at 0715 picking up at Acle, Norwich and all the towns along the A11 to Newmarket (0930) at a fare of £8.00 per passenger. On the main days, the two Saturdays and Sundays, a second alternative was offered at £10.00 per passenger advertised as a ‘Luxury in style coach’ running at exactly the same timings. I suspect this was the latter option simply because a hostess was carried and she is at the kerbside dealing with the boarding passengers.
As with a quite a number of vehicles in the Ambassador Travel fleet it was in a rather boring all white scheme with the fleetname on the windscreen to identify the company. Note the coach headlights carry some black masking to deflect the beam when the coach worked on continental tours.
