Friday 23 December 2022 (0852) – After the wholesale withdrawal of Newmarket area services by Stagecoach East after 29 October 2022, Stephensons of Essex has become more prominent having stepped in to provide replacement services.

One of the services now operated by Stephensons as service 112 is that between Newmarket and Ely.

Alexander Dennis (ADL) Enviro200D 462 (YX11 CTO), which was new in June 2011, is seen in The Guineas Bus Station, Newmarket after working the 0740 departure from Ely and before departing on the 0853 service back to Ely.

The driver in festive mood is wearing a bright red Christmas jersey.
