Monday 24 October 2011 (1303) - Stephensons of Essex began operating town services in Bury St Edmunds in late October marketed as ‘Breeze’ competing with First Eastern Counties and Mulleys. Alexander ALX200 bodied Dennis Dart 438 (LX51 FGM) was seen in Abbot Road in Bury St Edmunds when working service 3. The bus was new in September 2001 to Stagecoach Selkent (London) as their SLD308.

Monday 24 October 2011 (1450) - Stephensons of Essex began operating town services in Bury St Edmunds in late October marketed as ‘Breeze’ competing with First Eastern Counties and Mulleys. Alexander ALX200 bodied Dennis Dart 435 (LX51 FGE) was seen in St.Olaves Road on the Howard Estate when working service 2. (I believe the ‘Breeze’ services started on Friday 21 October although the official date was scheduled for Monday 24 October). The bus was new in September 2001 to Stagecoach Selkent (London) as their SLD305.

Thursday 27 October 2011 (1151) - Stephensons of Essex began operating town services in Bury St Edmunds in late October marketed as ‘Breeze’. Five Alexander ALX200 bodied Dennis Darts (435-439) carried ‘Breeze’ branding and each had a different ‘passenger’ pictured on the rear. 435 (LX51 FGE) was new in September 2001 to Stagecoach Selkent (London) as their SLD305.

Monday 24 October 2011 (1328) - Stephensons of Essex began operating town services in Bury St Edmunds in late October marketed as ‘Breeze’ competing with First Eastern Counties and Mulleys. Alexander ALX200 bodied Dennis Dart 436 (LX51 FGF) was seen in Tollgate Lane when working service 2. A number of different rear end adverts are carried by the buses employed on the new services. The bus was new in September 2001 to Stagecoach Selkent (London) as their SLD304.

Thursday 10 November 2011 (1344) - Stephensons of Essex began operating town services in Bury St Edmunds in late October marketed as ‘Breeze’. Five Alexander ALX200 bodied Dennis Darts (435-439) carried ‘Breeze’ branding and each had a different ‘passenger’ pictured on the rear. 437 (LX51 FGG) was new in September 2001 to Stagecoach Selkent (London) as their SLD307. They say that the eyes on the portrait of the Mona Lisa follow the viewer around the room - the eyes of this lovely lady seem to do likewise.

It was new in September 1990 as East Yorkshire Motor Services 947. Standing behind is 706 (G706 TCD), an Alexander bodied Leyland Olympian to Stagecoach South in April 1990 as Southdown 706.

Friday 13 July 2012 (1341) - Stephensons of Essex Limited V415 KMY, an East Lancs bodied Dennis Trident new to Metrobus in August 1999. Seen being prepared for towing away by from Bury St Edmunds bus station by a Volvo tow truck of Manchetts from Burwell (FH02 TOW). After adjustments were made the bus was lowered somewhat before departure.
