Eastern Counties VR196 (TEX 406R) in Barton Mills – April 1991 (139-2) (See inset photo)

A Saturday in April 1991 (approx. 0950) - Eastern Counties Omnibus Company VR196 (TEX 406R) picking up in The Street, Barton Mills when working the 0920 service 155 from West Row and Mildenhall to Bury St. Edmunds. The shadow of the rooftop of the Bell Inn is cast on the roadway and the Post Office was behind the camera.

In July 1981 when on holiday at Bacton I saw this bus most days when it was assigned to Mundesley outstation. It was now allocated to Mildenhall outstation which was under the control of Bury St. Edmunds garage.

An Eastern Coachworks bodied Bristol VR new in May 1977.
