Friday 2 December 2022 (1017) – First Eastern Counties Buses 47473 (SN14 EAG) receiving attention by the engineers in Castle Meadow, Norwich. It is a Wright StreetLite DF that was new to First Manchester (First Pioneer) in May 2014.

It was assigned to cross city service 10 (Eaton to Mousehold Heath) but when working the 0857 trip from Eaton it only got as far as Castle Meadow (0918) before requiring attention. Consequently, it failed to continue and cover 0925 to Mousehold Heath/0933 to Eaton/1017 to Mousehold Heath/1053 to Castle Meadow slotting back into service at 1120 bound for Eaton.

It seems the man dealt with the problem successfully because after resuming service at 1120 the bus worked until the end of the day.
