East Kent Road Car Co SKL 685X near Canterbury - 30 Jun 1995

Friday 30 June 1995 – When National Bus Company owned East Kent Road Car Company was privatised in March 1987 the company was purchased by its management. Eastern Coachworks bodied Bristol VR 7685 (SKL 685X), which was new in August 1981, carries the post privatisation livery that the company adopted. In the Summer of 1993 the company was acquired by the Stagecoach Group. 7685 was seen in the grounds of the University of Kent located on the hills to the north of the city of Canterbury.
