East Kent Road Car Co XJJ 650V in Canterbury - 30 Jun 1995

Friday 30 June 1995 – Although the East Kent Road Car Company was at this time owned by the Stagecoach Group, 7650 (XJJ 650V) still carried the cherry and cream livery introduced by the company following its privatisation from the National Bus Company. When privatised in March 1987 the company was purchased by its management but was later sold to Stagecoach in the Summer of 1993. Seen passing through the medieval Westgate in Canterbury 7650 was an Eastern Coachworks bodied Bristol VR new in February 1980.
