Zur Zeit findet man sehr häufig an Kräutern und Gräsern die eigenartigen Netze der Baldachinspinnen, von denen es in Mitteleuropa rund 4500 (!) Arten gibt. Wie diese Netze funktionieren, wird im Wikipedia-Artikel erklärt. Im Bild ein in einem Schlehenbusch angelegtes Netz, das wegen des starken Nebels von Tautropfen bedeckt ist. Für mich: Herbststimmung pur.

At present one finds very frequently at herbs and grasses the strange nets of Linyphiidae of which there are approximately 4500 (!) types in Central Europe. How these nets work is explained in the Wikipedia article. The picture shows a net in a blackthorn bush, which is covered by dew drops because of the strong fog. For me: Pure autumn atmosphere.
