Today on the way from Gisborne to Rotorua, in the worst possible weather.

Rotorua a city on the New Zealand North Island, which is located on the lake of the same name. The area is best known for its geothermal activity and rich Maori culture. Attractions in the Whakarewarewa Valley of Te Puia include blistering mud holes and the 30-meter-high Pohutu Geyser, which erupts several times a day. There is also a Maori Museum Village in Te Puia and the New Zealand Maori Arts & Crafts Institute for traditional carving and weaving.

The greenery is quite beautiful and the misty surrounding give it a really atmospheric look.....................but I suspect it actually smells of sulphur and is not very pleasant.
