Der gefährdete nördliche Königsalbatros (Toroa, Diomedea sanfordi), neben dem Wanderalbatros der größte Langstreckenflieger der Welt, hat am Taiaroa Head auf der Otago-Halbinsel seine einzige Festlandsbrutkolonie.

Danke vielmals, Uwe! Man muss da durch eine Scheibe fotografieren, unter den Umständen war ich zufrieden. Leider war die Landung außer Sichtweite, die können das nicht so gut und kugeln manchmal rum;-)
