I saw the lights many years ago whilst I was onboard a Royal Navy ship at sea..........it was an amazing experience.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera.......and smart phones hadn't been invented then :-)))

Last month our UK news was reporting sightings from all over the UK........mainly Scotland and North Wales and the North of England, but there were sightings from a far South as Cornwall. That's very unusual!

Just seeing the lights is a reward, and back then it was much more difficult to photograph them.
Yes, last month there was a strong solar storm and supposedly they could be seen even as far down as Switzerland.The problem here though is light pollution:-(

Schönen Dank, Uwe! Haha, die Spezies Handyblitzer stirbt nie aus:) Das Ding irgendwie in die Luft halten und juhu schreien, wenn ein verschwommener grüner Fleck drauf ist;-)

Wenn man zeitlich flexibel ist (Vorteil Rentner), gibt es kurzfristig günstige Angebote und Winter ist eh immer günstiger als Sommer.
