Global Challenges -Eagle

The eagle and the puffin are new artworks made from plastic waste collected on clean-up trips on the island of Magerøya. They are a collaboration between the 7th grade of Honningsvåg school and Linda Hansen, Bente Floer and Erica Kimberly.

Thanks a lot, George! Yes, and sadly the regions which cause the least amount of waste often suffer the most from it...Our cities are full of plastic waste "thanks" to burger places and Starbucks and the like.
