Joséphine Daram (1845-?); French soprano.
In 1865 she made her debut as one of the three boys in “Der Zauberflöte” at the Théâtre-Lyrique,where she was engaged till 1871. In 1867 she created the role of Stéphano in the première of Gounod’s “Romeo et Juliette”. From 1871 -1873 she was engaged by the Théâtre Athénée Lyrique in Paris. In the years 1874-1882 she was at Grand-Opéra Paris where she sang at 3 premières. She created the title-role in Victorin de Joncières opera “La Reine Berthe” (1878), the role of Archangel Gabriel in “La Vierge” by Massenet (1880) and the role of Xaïma in Gounod’s “Le tribut de Zamora” (1881).
