I don't think their hooves are supposed to be flared out like that, are they? I don't know anything about horses, but it seems to me they need a farrier.
The one on the right kept stamping his back hoof, which I took to mean something, but don't know what. Maybe, "Hey, can you fix our feet?"

A little spitz,18 years old! I don't remember what the exact breed was, but her owner said "it's where the Pomeranian came from." She and her friendly elderly man are inseparable.
