If those images on the notes are the used originals, then I say HDR did not brought much or any improvement. More likely, originals already seem to have great dynamic range.

Yes, these are the originals I've used and yes, there is not much difference, at least in the size that will be displayed here. But, that's the way I like HDR, you should not recognize at first glance!

Must say I'm still not a big fan of HDR or Tone mapping but I was happy with this result, especially because it does not look like a HDR at first glance! ;-D

You are right, it does not look HDR, but the color compared to originals is strangle warm. I like the white balance (color temperature) of the originals more.

Stimmt. Jetzt ist mir klar:
HDR sollte man am besten nur "ohne Himmel" versuchen
(oder ein besseres Programm haben - Efex Pro vielleicht).

.... aber für Produktfotografie oder Innenräume - wie hier - ist es richtig gut,
Allzweckwaffe gegen abgesoffene Tiefen sozusagen ....

Dank dir herzlich für den Stern, Heidi ...und, ich muss mich ja nochmal entschuldigen - ich war noch nie soooo "mäkelig" bei Kommentaren, wie in dieser Challenge! ;-D
Liegt wahrscheinlich daran, dass ich immer noch kein großer Fan von HDR/Tone mapping bin, obwohl ich es zwischenzeitlich auch immer wieder mal anwende! Aber, wie du sagst, kommt wirklich auf das Motiv an - überall passt's, für meinen Geschmack, halt leider nicht. Nur "ohne Himmel" würde ich aber nicht sagen, guck mal das von "Judith Jannetta" an, leider is das Original a bisserl klein, aber da kommt der Himmel toll raus!

Das "Problem" ist, meiner Meinung nach das Tone mapping hinterher, da übertreiben's halt viele - und wie man an den Kommentaren hier sieht, gefällt auch mein Ergebniss nicht jedem! ;-DD

As we have seen well in this challenge, especially HDR is an issue where the opinions far apart. In the end, everything is just a matter of personal taste, as my granny always said - cats like mice, I don't! ;-D

Perhaps a little lacking in detail for my own personal taste, but I have a feeling that from your POV this was taken handheld and that will have then played a part in softening the combined image.

Honestly, I had used a tripod, but at the end I've blurred it a bit because I liked the lighting and warm colors but not the hard edges! ; -DD

War ja noch nie ein großer HDR-Fan, bzw. von übertriebenem Tone mapping, was viele mögen und als zwingend für Hdr's ansehen!
Aber, erstens, ich wollte es mal ausprobieren, man soll ja wissen, was man "kritisiert"! ;-DD
Zweitens, bei vielen Motiven bringt es tatsächlich eine Verbesserung und hin und wieder nutze ich es nun tatsächlich auch selber! Drittens war es hier für die wöchentliche "Sunday Challenge" gefordert! ;-DD

Das Motiv finde ich sehr schön und das HDR dezent. Aber am Weißabgleich hast du was zum Wärmeren, Rötlichen hin verändert?
Wenn's nicht um die Challenge gegangen wäre, hättest du das sicher ohne HDR mit dem linken oder mittleren Original mindestens genausogut hinbekommen. Ich bin auch überhaupt kein HDR-Anhänger, diese quietschbunten unnatürlichen Bilder mit den Halos- uhhhh;-)

War das erste "echte" HDR überhaupt, dass ich gemacht hab, nur um zu wissen, wie's geht - und hier hat's dann auch zur Challenge gepasst! Und ja - grins - hab's am Ende wieder a bisserl weichgezeichnet und wärmer gemacht, damit das HDR noch weniger auffällt! ;-DD

HDR kann schon ganz nützlich sein, schlimm ist bei den meisten dann nur das grauslige tone mapping hinterher - aber da sind die Geschmäcker so was von verschieden. Da gab's einige in der Challenge, die mein Foto eigentlich gar nicht als HDR anerkennen wollten, weil's nicht so "irreal" ausguckt! ;-DD

Wie jetzt ... schon 5 Jahre bei IP??? ;-D Das wahnsinns Gewölbe hat aber jetzt auch von mir mal 'nen Stern verdient! :-) Mag auch das etwas dunklere mittlere PIP , obwohl das rechte ganz dunkle der Realität wohl am nächsten kommt, oder? VG, Frank

Mal noch kurz zu den HDR: habe ich eine Zeit lang relativ oft gemacht. Hab' das eigentlich auch meist als zur Verbesserung der Bilder betrachtet und versucht es mit dem Mapping nicht zu übertreiben. Inzwischen binn ich aber davon abgekommen. - Hat vor allem aber damit zu tun, daß ich 2015 die Nikon gekauft habe, die RAW Aufnahmen produziert. Mir ist die Bearbeitung in Lightroom dann deutlich lieber, um die Dynamik anzupassen.
