HBM ~ A Martham Mill rest
As we stroll from Potter Heigham along the River Thurne just past Candle Dyke we come across one of the many old windmills around here. This was described as a ‘drainage mill’ in our guide but it is now a prestigious holiday let. Surrounded by idyllic Broadland marshes and adjacent Hickling Broad where Nelson leaned to sail as a young man you can understand why a bench was placed here.
Have a great day.
