Before 1999, all we had was film. Both my wife and I were avid photographers when we were (separately) teenagers. When we married in 1981, we set photography aside. Eventually we bought a film point-and-shoot camera. FINALLY, 1999 came around and we tried a digital camera. The rest is history. Meanwhile we have scans of various film images, including my long-time enjoyment of Agfachome slide film.

We hired a boat and cruised up and down the Thames, almost as far up as Oxford, and as far down as Hampton Court. These were scanned from the original prints, quality varies.
