Very nice composition. Maybe we can imagine a little monkey dressed up in fine clothes dancing.

I thought these organs actually played by means of a card system like the Jacquard loom you will know from the textile mills... So, no musical skill needed!

Hi Peter. I think you are pulling my leg here. I am sure you realise that this is a wooden mock-up of a very traditional street organ grinder and his instrument. I have seen a few of these for real in European streets. As this had no obvious barrel organ mechanism o just thought that maybe piped music was relayed to it. Of course your are exactly correct in the mechanism behind them. Glad you like it. Herb
