Another retro picture here for the lack of brand new exciting photos in this C19 lockdown.

Taken whilst on a skiing holiday some forty years ago at the nearby village of Zell-am-Ziller, in the Austrian Tyrol. I took this just a short time before taking the same cable-car to the top ski slopes.

Ah yes Toz, I know that you love the Tirol too. I can see that this would be nice in Summer as well as in the snows of Winter. I was here with my younger brother skiing. Good that you liked this one.

I feel dizzy just looking at this Herb...........I don't do heights any more!

Notwithstanding that..............this is a beautiful study in light and shadow with lovely subtle contrast between the upper and lower halves of the image. I like the way the light catches the wires of the cable car and the car itself is perfectly placed in the frame!

Thanks Keith and like with Dan above, I am sorry that you have gone a bit dizzy with this one. This was always about light which I have always loved to capture in this fashion. I was fortunate with the cable car, but I know I would have waited for the right placing and moment . The cables-normally I don't like them, but in this case and light, they add to the scene well.
