Issues Road fences

A wild lane travelling from the village of Holm, to where? In fact nowhere now –it meets our trans-‘Pennine Way’ if you follow it straight but the lane fades away in the distance. Once farms may have dotted this area, like it does a mile or so to the right here but nowadays, it’s simply a sheep and tractor lane, as well as being part of a round walk for us townies with a camera of course.

It looks a nice walk Herb. We have two roads in this village called Love Lane...they used to meet up, but now only by a rather bumpy path running through farmland, but it is a public footpath. It does confuse delivery drivers though!

Always good to see and your reactions here Keith. Yes, it must be few days of the year indeed when this lane is so crowded. I drove past my Dovestones road to get here and I had never seen so many cars parked illegally along the grass verges as on this nice day. Glad you enjoye dit.
