Towards the dam from the Chew valley end

Quite frightening to see it reduced to a puddle! Let' hope the autumn and witer rains will replenish it.

Stil quite a big puddle Gudrun but frighteningly so, as you say. I think and hope it will look quite different for Spring.

Hi again Dave, I can imagine what Redmires must look like then for we have walkes around all three of those reservoirs some time ago now, when all were full. I have seen Ladybower pretty low a few times and we did wonder if the church and partial village would have been seen this year. Maybe you saw that -let me know. Yes as you say, I noticed too how quickly grass and moss had claimed the reservoir bed here.

A very pleasant scene, but so much better (as in the PiP) with more water. Let's hope your drought breaks soon.

Thanks George, glad you enjoyed both pictures. We had had some rain just before taking this but dry again for the last week and into next week too. Most unusual!
