City Bridge

City Bridge
The lifting bridge at Salford Keys, Manchester. A new bridge going over one of the many waterways at these keys, from 'The Lowery Centre' to Imperial Point. A lot of glass around here, hence the interesting reflections too.

A lovely perspective of this bridge.
I was born in Manchester.....lived all my life in Oz. Returned 3 years ago to visit...loved the area now round Salford.
My old home was still there in Gorton........glad I ended up in Oz!!

Thanks for this Diana. Sometimes Manchester and Salford seem an awful long way from my home down the road in Oldham and so your present life in Oz must seem a million miles away. I don't know Gorton at all but I am very happy that this photo has brought back some more pleasant memories and reasons maybe, why you ended up where you now are. I think I too might prefer Oz but I would miss our history and varied scenery. Hope you got a chance to see my whole Manchester Album.
