Moon Painting

Moon Painting
My favorite tree has been cut down but I found this great view. I got the chance to show a photographer a little of the night. this shot was taken with the tripod two legs in the field and one on the outside over the gate and fence either side of the view. what looks like a single shot is in fact is made up of two rows of 7 vertical shots to make up this panorama. no need to put the camera away when the moon 86% is out has its own charm....

Planes, Trucks, Cars, Clouds & Time........HFF

aNNa schramm, franco benf, Alexander Prolygin, Marie-claire Gallet and 29 other people have particularly liked this photo

During our trip from Cairns to Melbourne, we were able to admire this incomparable starry sky almost every night. It was a wonderful experience

We are bless with huge clear skies and very little light pollution even here its so true. I think most people from Europe would never forget the clear nights in the out back of Australia, glad it left you with a great memory. I was lucky to get the moon hidden by the trees but all the moon light on the leaves and trunks.

Amazing how dark it still looks even with a big moon like this. It seems funny seeing such strong tree shadows in the night. The trees themselves make a great foreground to this excellent starry night scene.

Herb the dark come from F4.5 and ISO 800 the top one is F2.8 ISO 2000. This was so it was not over bright like day time and there is still a little mystery on the night shot. The trees where just what I was looking for but sad loss to the older single tree. great Background on the computer.
