Mein Überraschungsfund - My surprise find

Überrascht war ich vor kurzem, als ich diesen kleinen Schmetterling in der Nähe meines Wohnortes fand. Es handelt sich um einen Bläuling, nämlich den Kreuzdorn-Zipfelfalter (Satyrium spini), der in Deutschland vom amtlichen Naturschutz als gefährdet eingestuft wird. Außergewöhnlich bei diesem Falter sind die zwei kleinen "Schwanzanhänge" am Hinterflügel (deswegen Zipfelfalter) und der große metallisch-blau leuchtende Fleck am Ende der Hinterflügelunterseite. Der Kreuzdorn-Zipfelfalter liebt warme bis heiße Wiesenflächen und saugt gerne am wilden Origano (Origano vulgare) wie im Bild zu sehen ist. Sein Vorkommen ist an das Vorhandensein von Kreuzdorn-Büschen (Rhamnus) gebunden, der Nahrungspflanze seiner Raupen.

I was surprised recently when I found this little butterfly near where I live. It is a blue, namely the blue spot hairstreak (Satyrium spini), which is classified as endangered in Germany by the official nature conservation authorities. Exceptional in this butterfly are the two small "tail appendages" on the hind wing and the large metallic blue spot at the end of the underside of the hind wing. The blue spot hairstreak loves warm to hot meadow areas and likes to suckle on wild origano (Origano vulgare) as shown in the picture. Its occurrence is linked to the presence of the buckthorn bush (Rhamnus), the food plant of its caterpillars.
