Excellent capture, but a stiff walk back up Amelia! HWW.

Being 83, I just couldn't make it back up, Roger, but luckily they have a system to get people back up to the top by Land Rovers. It was worth paying £2.75 for. ;-)

I walked in my late 70s but that was a few years ago now,

The tide was coming in quickly and, by the time we left, the sea would have been up to my knees at this point, Gudrun.

A beautiful image Amelia and nice memories of Clovelly. The first time we went there, years ago, we hadn't planned on stopping there and I was wearing heels!!! Cobblestones and heels - not a great combination. I think I ended up buying some flats from memory. Walking back up nearly killed us anyway!! It is beautiful though.
