Credit card renewal of membership

Hi, I was going to extend my membership today but find there is no option to use a credit card. I will never have a paypal account and have no wish to attempt to use a bank transfer. When will credit cards be accepted again, my subscription has until June before it expires. If there are no plans to allow credit card use by June I will need to start looking for somewhere else to share my photos before then. I certainly do NOT want to leave Ipernity but this may force me out!

Ipernity was programmed in 2013 with version 5.4 of the PHP programming language. This is how we members bought the website. Unfortunately, PHP 5.4 is considered obsolete in the meantime. For security reasons, payment service providers now only work with programmes programmed with PHP 7.2 or higher.
Since it is impossible to update the more than 20,000 html files that make up the ipernity website line by line, it is unfortunately not possible to connect to credit card service providers at the moment. Of course, we aim to re-implement the credit card option as part of the planned reprogramming. However, this is so extensive that it will certainly not be ready before June. Details can be found in the Club News of December 31, 2020 and in the discussion below that blog.
The reason for the missing credit card option is not a lack of good will, but of a technical nature.
If the options currently offered are not sufficient, you will unfortunately have to go the way you mentioned. However, we would very much regret it.

raingirl club has replied to Adrian Jones clubIn the more than three years that ipernity has been owned by us members, there has not been a single irregularity with Paypal. There are more than 1,500 transfers through it every year. You too have paid via Paypal without any problems several times. In this respect, we are irritated why it should suddenly be problematic. All in all, we can only state that in the three years of more than 5000 payment transactions, there has not been a single problem.
We do not understand why payment by bank transfer should not be possible. This is done by 5% of all club members without any problem. Bank transfers are one of the safest money transfer methods in Europe. And Crédit Agricole de Paris is a reputable bank.
What is your problem with this?
Sami Serola (inactiv… clubBesides, at least at some countries one can pay via PayPal without need to open their account.

Adrian Jones club has replied to StoneRoad2013 clubI wont do anything for a while as I have a feeling that this happened the last time I renewed, even though Bernard says that using a card is not possible, I think you may be right and there will be an option to use a card via paypal, they try to make you create an account several times before they will let you pay by card, this has happened before, not only here with Ipernity but on other sites that use paypal too.
Anyway thanks all, I wont give up and will keep trying, will report here if I am eventually successful. Thanks again all, you are very kind
