BTW can I ask for butterflies and caterpillars to be identified here as well?

Hi David, just noticed your request here, sorry. It is really for Moths, and by default their caterpillars. However, in the world, many species are not known well so it is not easy to identify the caterpillars unless one of our members happens to live in the area concerned and has managed to rear them previously. It might be possible to guess the family from the basic caterpillar shape, and that could then lead to something on a web-search.
