A Group Suggestion - if you are recording moths in your area, perhaps it would be interesting to add a species report to the Member's Moth Log in this discussion where you can concisely report on your moth activity. Basically a comment there will be a personal log of what you are seeing, but please do not create long lists of common species at high season. List notable species, such as the first for the year, or unusual species you don't see very often. Post a picture of the more notable ones in our gallery. We can trial this to see if it is manageable.

Another general note: Can members please only post a representative picture of a moth species in this area, not multiple views of the same insect, unless there is something important to show. I see this gallery as a pointer to your home pages where all your moth pictures are kept, so that if anyone is really interested in the particular species, then they can go there to see more. It will reduce the sheer quantity of pictures to scan through for visitors to our group. A useful addition to your picture would be tags to select the Family, Sub-family, Genus, and Species, Country Recorded in, and any distinctive common name parts which might help searches.
