Dear Isabel* I have had three dogs in my life. wire-haired dachshund. The first a male 12 1/2 years old, the second a bitch - she was 15 years old and my last dog was also a bitch, she was 15 1/2 years old and died on December 28th, 2006. It's been a long time and yet I think of her very often. You experience so many things together. You can tell so many stories.
I wish you all the best for your dog. Saying goodbye is very difficult.

I'm so sorry to hear your beloved dog is not well. As you said, she had a very good life. Our animals are blessings, and like all blessings, we have to let them go when the time comes, as gracefully as we can manage. But it is still sad.

c 'est triste . Je ne sais quoi dire , sinon que c 'est triste .Etres humains et animaux , nous sommes frères car nous sommes confrontés à la même douleur de la disparition.

Manny stars for Estrelinhe, I just read that she has died Isabel. How heart wrenching to have our furry friends leave us. We know the day will come but that doesn't make it any easier. There is a whole in our heart that never really heals. She left you knowing you loved and cared for her. Her little Spirit Has Soared into the stars. Thinking of you my friend. :)
