Our last day in Ferrara was pretty cool and rather wet. Which didn’t prevent us from having a last Campari at our favorite street cafe near the Este castle.

The empty glass is mine –Cora got pear juice (though I’m not sure she preferred it).

Her voice couldn’t be more eloquent than her face here: “Oh well, it was OK...”

This look isn’t individual, it’s the look of her age... Even I must have had it, if in a less charming way.

I wish I could speak from experience as to the look on her face: In my case, we would have to pose for American tourists, whose cameras we were pushed in front of by my parents. Who knows, maybe that's how they compensated journey expenses... (and I'm saying, we were supposed to *smiiiillleeee* then...)
