In my garden right now

I've seen the koalas and I've heard them at my trip through Australia. I find them so peaceful and pleasant.

They are in the day, yes, but at night in the mating season they make terrible noise!

Yes. We are in a rural, hilly area. There are many koalas. She has been here quite frequently in the last few months, and one or two others toddle about the paths here. Often they are obscured by leaves, but she is in a deciduous tree virtually at ground level. By the bedroom window. It made me very happy to see her this morning.

Bearably cute, to look at. Does it add a eucalyptus smell to the non-native tree? I've never seen them in a tree other than eucalyptus.

Didn’t sniff! We have no eucalypts....they sleep in the big banksias and this gleditsia. No idea why!
