Large moth

Large moth
SMALL-IMGP2990-on1

I have to confess that I'm unable to give a positive identification of this moth, which came visiting just as dusk was falling. It was about 50mm long and I suspect is from the Cossidae family. This image achieved with photo stacking of three images and best viewed large. See also the (single shot) PiP image.

Amazing detail, George, but I find this moth a tad frightening. It reminds me of a hairy spider.
