Wonga vine flowers in purple
Flowers on one of our Wonga Wonga (or just "Wonga") vines. The Wonga vine is a plant native to the east coast of Australia. In the wild the flowers are whitish to yellow, often with dark purple markings. They have been hybridised to give a range of colours for gardens (see also clickable PiPs). The tubular flowers are 10-25mm long.

Thank you, George! I figured they would be beautiful, but I did not imagine quite this graceful and interestingly coloured! The white ones give a stronger sense of the trumpet-like shape, the others are a kaleidoscope of colors. You really gave us wonderful portraits of these beauties!
