First flowers

First flowers
Our Wonga vines are just beginning to flower, pretty much the first indications that winter is passing here. In a week or two they'll be a mass of blossoms. The flowers are about 25mm long.

Explored.

Günter Klaus, Holger Hagen, Erhard Bernstein, Peter_Private_Box and 29 other people have particularly liked this photo

The first spring flowers in the UK are snowdrops. These are much more exotic, George.

Many thanks, Amelia. Curiously, I guess the converse also would apply - snowdrops are fairly uncommon here. :-)
