Most interesting! There isn't one track you have on your list that I have heard the name of the performer!
As I am a music lover, ranging in taste from Sibelius, to Bach, to Hendrix, to Coltrane, to punk, to soul, etc etc maybe I should delve deeply into this selection of yours and try and be a bit more 'with it, baby!'

"The secret is in the sauce."

I recall Brian Eno defined ambient music as something that can be listened anywhere, no matter what background noises there are. The idea is that the ear accepts the surrounding sounds as part of the experience.
