Hmm.. Interesting.... I wonder what makes that picture look like taken from inside and looking out of a window.

I think it is the framing that creates that illusion for me .... ;-)

I started to use frames like this to make it very clear where are the edges of my work. For example sometimes the sky can be fully burn out, and then picture looks kind of odd on white web page. Or vice versa, black areas blend into blackness of 'Lightbox' view.

But it is interesting to hear it also kind of creates this "seeing through window" feeling.
