Say no more... =D

Notice the ISO and exposure time ;-) I guess I was too lazy to use tripod that day. And that really is/was rather good output for that old Olympus E-450!

Obrigado, Isabel =)

I took a magnifying glass to look at my ballpoint... it wasn't clean either!

Tubes, tripod... good for days of forced inactivity!!!

.... urgh !!! extension tubes - I got 3, but don't know HOW to use it ... it's always a "blurry way of life" ... I remember the good old times of pocket cameras (Lumix TZ31 my last one), it was so easy to get a nice unblurred macro ... but now ?

That is of course the problem. Even the smallest aperture on several "large format" camera lenses gives a very shallow depth of field.

I guess (but can't remember) that I used the smallest aperture here. Because of extension tubes the true aperture is not recorded on EXIF.

Because Lumix TZ31 and equal cameras are small format cameras (small sensor), they also have physically smaller apertures all along. Therefore also much greater depth of field.

On the other hand, if you have time, camera good enough, patience, and of course right tools, you can use image stacking:

The tip of the ballpoint looks like some kind of tool found in a machinery shop ... the lint looks like metal shavings Sami.
