Although I pride myself on a deep and reverential knowledge of the English countryside I have to confess to my being so very wrong!
There are so many delightful places portrayed here that I have never heard of and that I want to explore that I simply have a feeling of total frustration here in Madrid, together with the sensation that time is running out (a common ipernity feeling, I'm sure). I have never heard of, let alone visited, Wanborough! (Where is it please?).
But then, I feel exactly the same here about Spain! So many terrific places to visit!
I have barely touched the surface in either country!
Oh, to be 30 years younger!!!
Roger Dodger club has replied to Andy Rodker clubWanborough - is a village off of the A31 on the North side of the road approaching the Guildford end. If you happen to know the A31 and 'Pilgrims Way' in that area, Wanborough can be reached by leaving the dual carriageway at the slip road off to Puttenham.
Have a nice weekend.
