Gulls at Radipole Lake.

I love these two shots Rosa..........typical gull behaviour, especially when there's food around. You've captured the action very well, especially in the main image. I like the light on the reed beds too.

Thank you very much Keith. Sophie had food for them, as you probably guessed. The Discovery Centre in the thatched cottage is open again and there are some great views across the lake from inside. They also have a very good little cafe....just thought I'd mention that ;-))

Cracking dynamic shots of the seabirds in flight Rosa. The bird on the water (moorhen perhaps) looks a little worried! It is a small world by the way. My son Andrew and family were at this place over the weekend, they were holidaying in the area for a few days.

Everything has been said about the quality of your 2 captures, Rosa (I'm delaying ;). So from a purely subjective point of view I'd say that I genuinely find in them the true agitated emotion of these moments - and in which what I'd rather call the phlegm of the duck amuses me a lot (I like to attribute to it an usual French expression against people who shout loudly: "Shut up, gulls! !" :-))
The precision and dynamism of your capture are really remarkable.
(I also love the abundant ink flowing from your photos, from your captions and your kind responses :)
