A most attractive harbour, Rosa. Really pretty. I see that there is little autumn colour in the leaves here. It was the same in Shropshire until the last 3 or 4 days, but we've had a couple of frosty nights, and although it's dismal here today there are some colourful trees around.

A lot of trees along the Atlantic coastline had lost their leaves due to the high winds.

Two more impressive images from Clovelly Rosa................both beautifully composed and taken and it's good to see slightly larger images in the PiPs too.

The houses on the waterfront are very attractive and the views must be wonderful. I'm not sure I'd want to be that close to the sea in winter though. I like the little fleet of boats and what looks like a lifeboat station with the red door.

I like the view in the second PiP too........the sea wall looks very nice with the cobblestones and bollards.

Happy memories return of many visits over the years since the late 1950s, surprising just how many changes have taken place since those days despite 'nothing' seemingly changing in the images, lots of new paintwork it seems. Think our last visit was with Canadian friends about 2008, I remember the '50s when we used to park in the lane leading down to Clovelly and walk on down to the village, also watching the sleds being used to transport things down the cobbled hill

Another fine pair images from this picturesque village Rosa. I like the view from the stones of the harbour wall over the water to the houses along the shoreline. The trees with their autumn colours provide a wonderful backdrop to the scene. The PiP of the harbour wall shows the textures of the rock from which is constructed very nicely in the light. The level of detail is superb clearly showing the crab/lobster pots and the individual rocks in the wall and steps. The seabird perched on the light(?), undisturbed by the presence of people, is the finishing touch of a great shot.
