Thank you for your kind comments Joe. I agree, it does look like a ruin, but it is a working mill, usually open to the public, in normal times. Many local shops sell their flour.

Lovely images. I take it the old mill would once have had a waterwheel for grinding grain.

Thank you George. It does have a working wheel and is still in use. At the moment no tours of the mill, but hopefully soon.

A very attractive old mill Rosa..........I love the red brickwork. The image in the PiP is my fave though...........the water meadow is really gorgeous. I love all the lush greenery and the water lilies and the sky looks superb reflected on the water surface!

Thank you dear Adele. Yes it is still working and would normally take visitors to all three floors to see the workings, but not at the moment sadly :-(
I often go to the town as they have a good fabric warehouse, so try to get a walk around the mill as well.

Nice view of this Mill Rosalyn, well hidden amid the foliage. Almost a touch of Constable Country.
