About newfoundland dogs, I had one once, she loved water indeed, eat sardines and chase chicken ! Trained for lifesaving...

Thank you Isabel. It is a beautiful area. There are designated trails through the sand dunes and woodlands allowing for exploration and spotting of deer, insects and birds, as well as wild flowers, but it was too hot the day I was there.

I really like all these Rosa.............especially as I'm looking out of the window at a grey miserable sky!

In your main image I like the parasol, the windbreak and the colour of the sea and the sky..........they all have different but matching blue tones. I hope the little tree survives........it'll need the dunes to put down deep roots.

In the first PiP I like the people in shot..........and the sign. I like to think of the sand dunes "resting", but people need to keep off them otherwise the sand will loosen up and blow away.

I love the dogs in the second PiP..............they're lovely creatures. I wish I had room (and the energy) for a couple of them.

Thank you Keith. Yes it is rather grey today here as well. I can't believe the difference in the weather from last Wednesday, which was actually a bit too hot ;-))

The sand dunes were roped off and I didn't see anyone on them. The dogs were an absolute delight to watch! I think they were training the black one. We laughed out loud several times! They then stayed in the water for a very long time and enjoying it immensely.

All the times I have been to Studland I have never come across the nudist beach, but like you, I know it's there somewhere. I don't look too much though....have to spare my blushes ;-))
