Wow! You weren't kidding about the rain, but still, the diffused light has brought the lovely colours in the landscape and the detail in the building.

I like the statue of the stag and the rows of artificial (?) white flowers. The bench looks lovely as does the background landscape.

Great detail and depth of field in the 2nd PiP, but I can't tell whether the flowers are artificial or real - not that it matters!

Yes, cold and wet Keith, but still beautiful whatever the weather.
The stag and light up artificial flowers are all part of the after dark festive trail. It does look good even in the daytime.

Thank you so much for your kind comments. I go out whatever the weather, but it was difficult to get good photos. I have a couple more to show. One good thing, the pub was open :-)

What a series. You have captured the rain beautifully and it has enhanced the colours just as beautifully. It looks so peaceful and tranquil. The statue of the stag looks wonderful.

Wonderful composition here, capturing all those rain splashes in the lake. For me, that makes the picture and tells the story.
PiPs are beautiful in their own right too.
Maybe if you are very good, and write a nice letter to Santa, he might arrange for the stag to come and see you!

¡Oh! Veo el lago rodeado de arbolado y verde. Los árboles son variados y nobles. Luego el PiP con el ciervo confeccionado y rodeado de flores. Tenéis un paisaje encantador.

Thank you very much Jose. In normal times I would be walking around the lake and the surrounding areas on any nice winter's day, but sadly I couldn't choose this time. At least the rain keeps the grass green :-))
