I think it is gorgeous, Laura. The only thing I would change is to "remove" the two blown white areas.

I do think it would work without the white areas, but when I play with that I find it becomes a calmer photo without them and personally I rather like the tension those places bring to the photo. I worried that the bottom left one would draw one's eye off the edge of the photo, but because of the shape of that one, I think it successfully pulls you back into the rest of the photo.

Of course, nothing wrong with a calmer photo! If I have some time to play with it I will see if I could make those white areas go away and give a comparison.

I like it. I has a lot of oomph! Both the colors and the suggestion of a scene are superb. To me it has the feel of a fine impressionist painting.

Haha, I see you too like to dabble with almost abstract light and processing. Just looking at this as it is, looks almost like a nearby car on fire on a rainy day with a wet lens. (Oops I've discovered your secret :))

i do love alternative style photos, also accidental on purpose images. and i really like it when people have to stop and contemplate the image, either for beauty, or curiousity, or simple confusion.
