my husband has had cataract surgery. i would recommend thinking carefully about where you want them to put your focal point - what distance you want to be in focus. most people pick someplace in the distance, but my husband picked reading distance because he does that the most (unlike me)!

ah, that's the question, isn't it? i've started about half of them. i'm not a religious reader, that is i don't have a set time of day that i read, so i read in bits and pieces and my choice of book varies along with the time of day and day of the week. generally i am pretty scattered in interests and follow through (or lack there of) - but i am interested in a lot of different topics.

Ah - you read the titles. Yes, I've revealed one of my issues, the search for perfectionism. (I'm finally learning that all these type books essentially say the same things, just phrase it differently. Maybe someday one version will stick with me and I can stop reading them - ha! But really, I'm about ready to move onto fiction and poetry which will please my husband because he's a poet and songwriter.)
