Is this anywhere near a place called Badsalzig? I might have spelled this wrongly. I visited this area 40 years ago and also visited Koblenz and Bonn. We had river cruises and visited vineyards too.

Bad Salzig liegt am Rhein, ca. 50 Kilometer westlich von Cochem (Mosel). Koblenz ist ca. 30 Kilometer nördlich von Bad Salzig entfernt. Es kann also gut sein, dass du bei einer Bootsfahrt da vorbeigekommen bist. Gruß Uwe
