Go on - take my photo - Eastbourne convenience store - 25 9 2021
This is the photo I mentioned when posting the snaps of the young people in Eastbourne. www.ipernity.com/doc/philsutters/52068218
I was returning from a wedding and was in need of a drink, while changing from train to bus. I had found my camera bag had got locked in the church, while taking photos of the wedding party. So I was carrying my camera over my shoulder. Seeing that, this friendly shop keeper asked me to take his picture. The covid screen does rather spoil the portrait but his warm character shines through.
I tried hard to find this image and couldn't initially, then I came across it while looking for something else. The camera bag was recovered for me the next day and returned to me by a relative visiting us a few weeks later.
